An opportunity like this only comes around every 30 or so years, it would seem….and when opportunity knocks, Offensive Group kicks the door wide open and seizes the day.
Heckler & Koch shook the 2A community to it’s core when it unveiled their new HK SP5, developed as a semiautomatic sporting pistol that matches the look and feel of the legendary MP5 submachine gun in December of 2019. This represents the first time in over 30 years that the civilian US market would have the ability to own and purchase an official HK variant of the iconic MP5, with the SP5 being designed and manufactured to meet the definition of a civilian pistol. The SP5 is loaded with authentic features that fans fell in love with back in the 80’s, such as a Navy barrel with threaded tri-lug adaptor, paddle magazine release, and fluted chamber.
Only a handful of individuals around the world knew about the product reveal before the launch, and the team here at Offensive Group was not only among the select few who were privy to this landmark release, but were honored and privileged to receive one of the very first SP5’s off the production line and produced the official HK branded photography and video for the release.
The entire team at Offensive Group is humbled and thrilled to have been selected as the official content creators to put our artistic stamp on such a special product release with the team at Heckler & Koch. We look forward to producing and helping to unveil future content with HK in 2020… but for now we can neither confirm nor deny what exactly that upcoming content may entail.
